Jiffy Pre-forma Plugs 20mm (x 50)

Get ready for the new season! I have just received a brand new bulk box of plugs, so have divided them up into bags of 50 (by weight, some bags may include more). 

They are packed in black plastic ziplock bags to keep them moist, so please keep out of direct sun to avoid drying out.  

I don't usually add water to these when preparing chrysanthemum cuttings, it's generally not necessary if the plugs are kept moist in storage. Ensure you water your plants a day before you take cuttings to ensure your plants are fully hydrated before you start.

If your cuttings are kept in warm conditions, they may need a small top up spray of water at around 2 weeks. Generally my cuttings will root and be ready in around 4 weeks with no heat needed.

As the pre-dibbed hole is quite small, I usually use an awl to carefully widen prior to inserting the cutting.
