Update on 2025 Season

Just a quick update from me as I finish packing to head to Japan.

Unfortunately I've had to call it on this season due to time pressures - I haven't been able to fit in taking another cuttings batch due to the heat this weekend. We had a tree take out most of my (freshly planted) garden beds two weeks back and I've been playing catchup ever since.

Into late November it's just too hot to keep water up to small and more delicate plants so growing them becomes stressful. I know all too well how much it can drain you when your nice hobby becomes an endless chore!

I'm glad I was able to get the second batch of orders out and massive thank you to everyone who has ordered this year and your kind feedback. I'll have lots of new cultivars and photos next year. I have some systems sorted out to scale a little more. I'm also looking for chrysanthemum accessories in Japan to help with growing so will potentially list them online. Watch this space!

I'll post on instagram, gardenstead and here (likely when I return) some of the many chrysanthemum spots I am visiting in Japan.

Apologies in advance for the social media Japan blitz!
